Science

This week we have been looking at the individual parts of a torch and how they work. We have looked at the reasons why specific materials are selected when constructing a torch. We were all surprised at home many components there were in one simple torch.

Science Investigation

Today we have been conducting a Science investigation to identify which materials are conductors and which are insulators. We then concluded that all metal objects conduct electricity and cardboard, paper and plastic all insulate.

Roman Architecture Drawings

This week we have been looking at Roman architecture and how we see the depth and detail through shadows. We then replicated the aqueduct by using light and dark tones to show depth and detail. We were very pleased with our perseverance and end results.
