This morning, Year One were visited by Mr Sandhu. He was a very kind man who taught us lots about the Sikh way of life.

Holi Patterns
In Year 1, we learned about the Hindu festival of Holi - the festival of colour - which celebrates the coming of Spring. We watched a video about what happens at Holi. Then we looked at images of Holi patterns and recreated them with coloured chalk on the playground....
