This week we have been looking at the individual parts of a torch and how they work. We have looked at the reasons why specific materials are selected when constructing a torch. We were all surprised at home many components there were in one simple torch.
After sketching and resketching our landscape images, today we have added colour. We attempted to create the foreground, middle ground and back depth and used our previous skills of shade to alter our paint tones. We are very pleased we our results.
We have been talking to the children about where the fruit they eat for snack comes from. Lots of them knew that apples and pears grow on trees and so we decided to plant some fruit trees of our own. We planted two apples trees, a pear tree and a plum tree. Maybe one...
