During our first week back, we have been read The Barnabus Project by the Fan brothers. In a world built for Perfect Pets, Barnabus is a Failed Project, half mouse, half elephant, kept out of sight until his dreams of freedom lead him and his misfit friends on a adventure. This story, led to the creation of our own failed projects. We used clay and moulded, pinched and prodded till our creations were complete. Here are some examples.

Today we have had Louise from Sandwell Road Safety Education Team visit. She has delivered assemblies to KS1 and Year 4 & 5. Then class workshops with Year 3 and 6. The children learnt all about crossing safely, car safety and a catchy little song for a reminder....
