Year 6 had a wonderful visit to Bewdley Museum on Friday to consolidate and build on their learning about World War II. We learnt lots of new facts and were able to look at a range of artefacts. It was interesting being able to look at so many items from the time which were actually used during the war. Being able to visit a real air raid sheter which would have sheltered real people during The Blitz has certainly helped with our understanding of what it would have been like.

After sketching and resketching our landscape images, today we have added colour. We attempted to create the foreground, middle ground and back depth and used our previous skills of shade to alter our paint tones. We are very pleased we our results.
