2nd October 2024

Today, we had a visit from the Dogs Trust. We found out all about what the Dogs Trust do and how they help dogs in our area. We spoke about the dogs we have in our lives and how we look after them with care and love. We found out about dogs senses and how these differ from humans. Did you know that a dog’s hearing is four times more powerful than ours? Did you know that dog’s sense of smell is five times as powerful?

Rachel taught us about ABC (affection, busy & choice). We must use the ABC in an appropriate and safe way to make sure our dogs are well looked after and we keep ourselves safe too. To finish, we wrote our very own ‘pawesome promise’ to make to our furry friends!
