The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood was a secret society, formed in John Millais’ house in 1848, who wanted to change
art in Britain. They believed in the idea of ‘art for art’s sake’, meaning art doesn’t need to have a purpose. It can just be beautiful. We have been painting in the style of Millais, the boy from the Pears Soap Advert, where we associated him with Jim from Street Child. Have a look at our artwork!
