Last week we researched and made posters about Walter Tull, to celebrate Black History Month. We found out lots of interesting facts: he was a soldier, a footballer (he played for Tottenham Hotspur), he grew up in an orphanage and lots more. Have a look at the link below to find our more about him.

We've had a great start to 2026 in Sapphire Class! I asked children to share their hopes for 2026 and their answers were inspiring. We also finished our science topic of 'forces' by experimenting with Newton meters.
After sketching and resketching our landscape images, today we have added colour. We attempted to create the foreground, middle ground and back depth and used our previous skills of shade to alter our paint tones. We are very pleased we our results.
