On Friday we made and iced shortcake biscuits. We rubbed the butter into the flour, added the sugar and then rolled out the mixture. We used a variety of cutters to create our biscuit shapes. After the baking we then decorated them with icing and sprinkles. They were extremely yummy.
After sketching and resketching our landscape images, today we have added colour. We attempted to create the foreground, middle ground and back depth and used our previous skills of shade to alter our paint tones. We are very pleased we our results.
Y5 have had a fantastic day at Safeside. Everyone learnt something - even the adults! Parents may be tested and questioned about hazards around the home and precautions we can take in the home and car!
