What an amazing day at Bishops Wood. The weather was amazing, our guide for the day, Becky, very knowledgeable and kept us busy all day. She showed us how Anglo-Saxons would make a fire, shelters, row a boat to a beat, create a brooch, a thumb pot in clay and spin some yarn. It was all fabulous. We then viewed Anglo-Saxon armoury and houses. It was a truly fascinating day and everyone thouroughly enjoyed themselves.
