In Year 2, we have been looking at out topic of Fire. We have created our own firebirds using a collage of different colours that represent fire and feathers.

We have also created The Great Fire of London Lanterns! Look at our designs!

This week we have been looking at the individual parts of a torch and how they work. We have looked at the reasons why specific materials are selected when constructing a torch. We were all surprised at home many components there were in one simple torch.
