Yesterday we played in our mud kitchen. The children had a great time using lots of natural ingredients such as pine cones, flowers, leaves and conkers to make cakes, soups and hot chocolate. We enjoyed getting a little bit messy and being very imaginative.
This week our children have been picking fruit and vegetables in the school Community Grow Garden. We picked red and yellow tomatoes, chilli's, lettuce, potatoes and green beans. We also smelt all the herbs, they smelt delicious!
Last week we had a visit from the CO crew. First thing in the morning we had an assembly with Julie and Al to learn about Carbon Monoxide. We realised that you can't hear it, smell it, taste it, touch it or see it! We learnt that you need to have a special detector...
