On Friday we had a Roman workshop day, where we looked at Roman artefacts, learnt to play Roman games and quizzed. In the afternoon we looked at Roman armour and weapons, learnt all about Boudica’s Rebellion and Gladiatorial battles. It was an amazing day where we were engaged throughout and enraptured by our Roman visitor. Thank you to Jack from Portals to the Past.
After sketching and resketching our landscape images, today we have added colour. We attempted to create the foreground, middle ground and back depth and used our previous skills of shade to alter our paint tones. We are very pleased we our results.
