Last week in Ocean class we have attempted a Roman mosaic. It was a little tricky and it tested our perseverance. It took a long while and made us realise the difficulties for the Romans.

This week we have been looking at the individual parts of a torch and how they work. We have looked at the reasons why specific materials are selected when constructing a torch. We were all surprised at home many components there were in one simple torch.
