Today, Sapphire Class followed instructions to cut out and fold a template to make a 3D model of a Viking long ship. Although they aren’t finished yet, they look really good and have been made carefully and accurately.
Viking man visit
Year 5 have had a fantastic day with the Viking man. We have looked at lots of replica tools, weapons and utensils, at the types of clothes they wore, how they lived and how they fought. We then took part in a battle re-enactment with our own shields.
