On Friday, we investigated our times tables by making arrays.
We can now use our noticing skills to tell if a group is equal or unequal!
In Year 1, we learned about the Hindu festival of Holi - the festival of colour - which celebrates the coming of Spring. We watched a video about what happens at Holi. Then we looked at images of Holi patterns and recreated them with coloured chalk on the playground....
After sketching and resketching our landscape images, today we have added colour. We attempted to create the foreground, middle ground and back depth and used our previous skills of shade to alter our paint tones. We are very pleased we our results.
