Today we have been introduced to the new maths topic of area. We have discussed what area is, how to measure area using post it notes and then answered some questions on area.

This week we have been looking at the individual parts of a torch and how they work. We have looked at the reasons why specific materials are selected when constructing a torch. We were all surprised at home many components there were in one simple torch.
