Today we investigated capacity and volume. We went outside in the playground and poured water into different measuring jugs and cylinders to match the amounts given by the teachers. We had to be really accurate with our pouring and the teachers made it tricky by giving us fractions of a litre! We managed to work it out though – must be all that good teaching we’ve had!
